Horsley Hills in Andhra Pradesh doesn't have the fame of Ooty or Kodaikanal and that's precisely the point. The ascent through the Eastern Ghats is a genuine ghat road: switchbacks, eucalyptus-scented air, and views across the Deccan plateau that arrive suddenly and stay long. At the top, it's cool, quiet, and unhurried. The summit sits at around 1,260 metres with none of the weekend traffic that makes more popular hill stations hard work.
